Combine Whipped Cream And Cherries For A Romantic, Decadent Dessert

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 8 oz. tub Cool Whip
  • Nilla wafers
  • Cherry preserves
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Instructions
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and 1/3 cup of sugar. Mix thoroughly.
    • Add Cool Whip and remaining sugar, mix until blended with cream cheese. Set aside.
    • Line the bottom of a large bowl or trifle dish with Nilla wafers.
    • Follow with one layer of the cream cheese mixture, and one layer of cherry preserves.
    • Repeat steps 3 and 4 until container is nearly full.
    • Top with cherry pie filling, and finish off with a final layer of cream cheese mixture.
    • Chill overnight.
    • Top with maraschino cherries, and serve cool. Enjoy!
