If you’ve got a dusty old frame lying around and some string lights from last Christmas, this spring project is just what you need to spruce up your home. This simple project is quick, cheap, and easy. Not to mention it adds a light, airy feel to the room. All you need to make this light up frame with flowers decoration is a small piece of wired fence, an old picture frame, your choice of string lights, and plastic flowers.
Paint is optional. You can keep the wood finish if you’re going for a shabby chic look or paint it white for a more modern touch. And if you’re looking for another string light project, try this Coca-Cola bottle string light project!
First, paint the frame if you choose. Let dry. Flip it over and cut fencing wire to fit the size of your frame. Using a staple gun, staple the wire at the four corners and sides of the frame. Next, weave string lights horizontally and vertically. We’ve chosen two different sets, one white and one green, for a nice little contrast. Place flowers in an arrangement you prefer, then glue them into place throughout the fencing wire. Finally, hang into place, plug it in, and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
