As a fan of all kinds of breakfast dishes, I am constantly on the lookout for yummy, new recipes. Any breakfast meal that involves some outside-the-box cooking is totally fine with me.
Whether putting a twist on traditional French toast, or experimenting with different types of breakfast meats, the possibilities for starting the day off on a delicious note seem endless.
And now, I am very excited to try out this yummy twist on regular eggs and hash browns.
In this exclusive video, you’ll see how simple it is to whip up a batch of quail eggs and potatoes — otherwise known as “eggs in a nest.” And while I’ve never tried quail eggs before, I can’t wait to give them a try.

Ingredients
- 1 potato
- 2 Tbsps. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsps. egg, beaten
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 8 quail eggs
- Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- Peel and grate potato.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Divide mixture between two greased, oven-safe bowls, and form a nest.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350 °F.
- Crack 4 quail eggs on top of each nest.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Bake for 5 to 10 additional minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
